Asking in case anyone already knows

Does newgrounds support any sort of markdown for the descriptions of image posts?

And, if I want to upload a short animated gif should I upload it in the Art area or is it recommend I find a way to convert it to one of the accepted Movie formats and upload it there?

I suppose today is the day I attempt to play catch up posting art here. It's a shame postybirb doesn't already have support for uploading to newgrounds, but seeing as how recent this whole fiasco was it's understandable and my guess is that it will likely be added in next one or two upcoming versions. Thankfully, I don't have to do as much filtering when deciding what to upload, it's just gonna be annoying having to go through all the description work. But hey! Only limited to four tags, so that's convenient!
